Xbox's Helix Console Could Cost At Least $1000, But Will Be Significantly More Powerful Than Series X

A leaker predicts that Xbox's upcoming Project Helix console could launch with an MSRP of roughly $1,000-$1,500, driven by the cost of its high-end AMD Magnus APU, DRAM and other components. The system is said to deliver about five times the rasterization performance and up to 20 × the ray-tracing capability of the current Xbox Series X, positioning it alongside high-end gaming PCs. Critics note that Valve's decision not to subsidize the devices could limit Steam's user growth, but the company maintains the launch timeline remains on track.
