Author: Wesley LeBlanc
Crimson Desert launched in 2026 for PlayStation 5 Pro, Xbox Series X/S and PC, earning a 7/10 from Game Informer. The Xbox version also exhibits input lag and low-resolution hair rendering, and both platforms are awaiting patches, leaving PC the optimal experience for players with capable hardware.

The developer apologized for the poor keyboard-and-mouse experience and said it is taking player feedback seriously, though no release date or specific changes have been announced. The patch aims to improve input handling and add customization options to resolve the issue that has drawn widespread criticism since launch.
