Crimson Desert GPU Benchmarks, Bugs, Simulation Error Tests, & Intel Arc Gets Screwed

GamersNexus released a new video covering the launch of Crimson Desert. The team evaluated the day-one patch on 25 different GPUs, testing three resolutions and every graphics preset. They also measured simulation-time errors, frametime spikes and overall framerate performance.

During the runs, the testers encountered numerous bugs on three test PCs using two GPU vendors. Intel Arc hardware was unaffected by the bugs, but the GPU does not run Crimson Desert at all. This aligns with the developer's statement that Intel GPUs are not supported and users should consult the refund policy.

The benchmark data highlights significant performance variation across the tested GPUs, while the simulation-time error tests reveal stability issues on several cards. Intel Arc's incompatibility underscores the lack of support for that platform, leaving Intel users without a viable option for the game. The video includes frame-time graphs and visual examples of the bugs encountered.
