New Knight Rider: Knight of the Repli-KITT

In the newest video, RetroRecipes takes on A legend returns.

Peri Fractic and Dark Coast Pictures traveled to the El Mirage dry lake, the original site of the Knight Rider opening titles, to film a shot-for-shot remake of the classic intro. The footage is intended for inclusion in a major upcoming documentary.

After completing the recreation, the team decided to continue the project beyond the initial scope. The effort aligns with recent developments in the franchise, such as the original KITT designer building a new Knight Industries Three Thousand as a Mustang GT500.

The video serves as both a tribute to the iconic series and a preview of the documentary's deeper exploration of Knight Rider's cultural impact. Viewers can expect meticulous attention to detail in the recreated sequences. The authentic location and period-accurate filming reinforce RetroRecipes' focus on retro automotive heritage.
