RESULTS: TSM Claim Victory over CLG in Preparation for Tie Breaker Games
By Zac Cameron ·
With the NA LCS standings not yet decided, TSM have claimed a victory over CLG to put themselves into a potential tie-breaker series for the first round bye.

While their playoffs spot is assured, TSM came into this match looking for blood as they head towards a potential tie-breaker scenario for the first round bye. Here’s a brief breakdown of the match.
TSM secured first blood, roaming into the jungle to claim the kill before moving to secure the first Dragon of the game. As both teams look towards a fight in the bot lane, CLG come out ahead as they secure two kills for free, forcing TSM to withdraw. As CLG then look towards the top lane, TSM respond in force, claiming a kill and protecting their top side from pressure. With CLG looking to the Dragon, TSM send four members top to claim another kill and take down the turret.
After securing the Rift Herald, TSM engage on the mid lane, claiming four kills and taking the turret down before spreading out across the map to apply more pressure. In the bot lane, CLG manage to trade kills one for one before losing the bot turret to the advance of TSM, as both teams prepare for the next Dragon. The battle for vision control over Baron begins, with both teams clearing out wards and placing their own whilst also applying pressure across the map. As the teams look for a fight, TSM quickly take down three members of CLG before losing their two carries, forcing both teams to withdraw in a stalemate.
With both teams jockeying for positioning around Baron, TSM force a fight that secures them two kills before moving on to take down the Baron. CLG attempt to claim a Dragon in reply, but TSM move down fast enough to cut them off and claim it for themselves. TSM use the power of Baron to push in multiple lanes at the same time, taking down the top inhibitor before rotating to the mid lane to attack the defences there. With only the bot lane inhibitor remaining, TSM focus their attention there, forcing a team fight that costs CLG four deaths and places TSM in the running for potential tie-breaker games later in the day.
