RESULTS: With A Victory over Echo Fox 100 Thieves Have Secured First Place in Their Inaugural Season

With a final overtime game on the last day of the NA LCS Spring Split regular season, 100 Thieves have managed to steal away the number one spot by taking down Echo Fox. Here’s a brief breakdown of the match.

An early team fight broke out in the jungler with both teams claiming two kills, though 100 Thieves scored first blood. With both teams recoiling from the top side, they made almost identical plays on the bot lane, with Echo Fox attempting to engage onto 100 Thieves, however quick reflexes and faster reinforcements allow 100 Thieves to claim the kill, take down a turret, and secure the Dragon.

As 100 Thieves attempt to pressure the mid lane, they are quickly collapsed on, costing them a kill before they try to pressure the top lane where they gain a kill. As a team fight breaks out in the jungle, 100 Thieves manage to find four kills in exchange for a single death before using the power of the Rift Herald to push the top lane. In the aftermath, 100 Thieves move bot to secure the Dragon, before the teams again clash in the top lane where Echo Fox claim a return kill.

With the Baron spawning, 100 Thieves attempt to apply pressure in the mid lane, though Echo Fox proves deceptively strong as they turn the gank around and claim a kill. Another skirmish in the top lane results in 100 Thieves claiming two kills for one death, as both teams look for an advantage across the map. Both teams clash in the mid lane in a fight that results in two kills for 100 Thieves, before they move to secure the Baron. Using the power of the Baron, 100 Thieves catch out two members of Echo Fox in the mid lane, continuing the siege to take down two inhibitors. With few defences remaining, 100 Thieves look to shut out the game early as they take down the nexus to claim the number one spot in the NA LCS.
