Eric Kripke confirmed that The Boys Season 5, Episode 5 will introduce Mister Marathon-played by Jared Padalecki-a former member of The Seven who was replaced by A-Train as his speed waned. Kripke said the character will have a meaty, fun role alongside Soldier Boy and a mystery character, rather than just a cameo, and will be portrayed as a sleazy, coke-blowing antagonist. The episode, set to debut on Prime Video next week, hints at conflict between Marathon and Soldier Boy, though the exact purpose of Marathon's return remains unconfirmed.
