Shift Up CEO Explains Design of Stellar Blade: Blood Rain's New Main Character

Author: Wesley Yin-Poole

Shift Up CEO Hyung-tae Kim explained that the new protagonist of Stellar Blade: Blood Rain, Evie, is intentionally designed as a younger, smaller but tougher-minded character who fights differently from the first game's highly sexualized lead, Eve. He said Evie's personality, voice and combat style make her lovable and that her outfits will be even more appealing, while the sequel's story will stand alone yet reference the original's plot. Development is progressing well, and although platform details are not finalized, the game may launch on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S as a self-published title.
