By NewsHound ·
Tim's Tiny Arcade uploads a look at Space Hawk (1981) for Intellivision.

Space Hawk is a classic multidirectional shooter released by Mattel Electronics in 1982 for the Intellivision home console. The Intellivision, launched by Mattel in 1979, was noted for its realistic sports and strategic titles. The game was designed by Bill Fisher.
Players control a lone astronaut equipped with a rocket-powered backpack and a laser gun. The objective is to destroy white "space hawks," avoid gas bubbles, and survive hazards such as comets and UFOs. Multidirectional controls allow movement in any direction across the screen.
The video provides a sprint playthrough that showcases the game's fast-paced action. Space Hawk remains a representative example of early 1980s arcade-style shooters on home consoles.
