Tales of Eternia Remastered - Announcement Trailer - Nintendo Switch 2

Nintendo of America released an announcement trailer for Tales of Eternia Remastered. The game is scheduled to launch on October 16, 2026 for both Nintendo Switch 2 and the original Nintendo Switch. It presents a remastered version of the classic action-role-playing title.

Players will guide protagonists Reid, Farah and their allies as they strive to bridge the divide between the realms of Inferia and Celestia. The trailer emphasizes the opportunity to relive the original adventure with updated visuals and gameplay. The original release, known in North America as Tales of Destiny II, was the third main entry in the Tales series.

The remaster arrives as part of Nintendo's ongoing support for legacy titles on its current hardware. Fans of the series can expect the same action-RPG mechanics that defined the 1997 release, now optimized for modern consoles. The announcement underscores Nintendo's commitment to expanding its library with refreshed classics.
