By NewsHound ·
Modern RG releases side-by-side Altered Beast comparison for A500 and Atari ST.
Modern RG's latest upload presents a side-by-side comparison of the classic game Altered Beast running on the Amiga 500 and the Atari ST. The video places the two versions next to each other to highlight visual and performance differences between the platforms.
Audio is mapped to the speakers, with the left video feeding the left speaker and the right video feeding the right speaker. This setup allows viewers to hear each system's sound output independently.
The comparison offers a direct look at how the same title performs on two distinct 1980s home computers. Observers can note variations in graphics rendering and audio fidelity between the Amiga 500 and the Atari ST.
