Ninja Shows Off the Power of Double Heavy Shotguns
By Nicholas Barth ·
With the addition of the new shotgun to Fortnite: Battle Royale, Tyler "Ninja" Belvins was able to show off how deadly two heavy shotguns can be when used in unison.

The latest update for Fortnite: Battle Royale added a brand new weapon to the potential arsenal that players can do battle with, as the heavy shotgun is now wrecking havoc all across Fortnite servers. While the new version is not as readily available for players to acquire as is its counterparts in the pump and tactical shotguns, the high damage and increased range that it provides to players lucky enough to find one in a match allows them to quickly dispatch any enemy. This is especially true if you are able to equip two of these powerful weapons and return to the old days of the double pump strategy that dominated Fortnite for quite some time.
While it is extremely rare that a player would find two of the new weapon in one match, Tyler "Ninja" Belvins showed off recently how truly dangerous a player can be when utilizing two of them at the same time.

Flying on his glider at the very end of a match, Ninja was seraching for the very last opponent that he needed to eliminate to claim the Victory Royale. Finding his enemy taking cover behind a tree, Ninja equips one of his two heavy shotguns and began his attacks. Quickly switching back and forth from each heavy shotgun after each shot, the extremely talented Fortnite player was able to take out his enemy with four well placed blasts. From Ninja's victory scream at Epic Games, you can tell that the popular streamer realizes that while the developer was able to get rid of the double pump method of the old days, they have just added another powerful, albeit not practical, version with the introduction of this new weapon.
YouTuber NoahJ456 took to the replies of Ninja's video and explained that even though on the surface this new double heavy shotgun loadout looks over powered, considering the rareness of the weapon, it is hard to argue that this strategy is unfair.
What do you think of the new heavy shotgun in Fortnite? Is it too powerful or is it perfectly fine how it currently is?
