Donkey Kong Bowser's Takeover is a fan-made arcade ROM hack released on January 21, 2026 by developer Paul Goes. The hack reimagines the classic Donkey Kong cabinet with a new storyline.

In this version Bowser assumes Donkey Kong's role, kidnapping Pauline and confronting the player. The level design incorporates familiar enemies such as Piranha Plants, Koopa Troopas and Thwomps. These elements preserve the original's platforming feel while introducing a Mario-series antagonist.

Bowser, known as the primary antagonist of Nintendo's Mario franchise, brings his signature presence to the arcade format. The hack blends the iconic characters of both series into a single experience.
