New Switch 2 Game Officially Coming This Fall
Moomin: Midsummer Madness has been officially confirmed for a fall 2026 launch on the Nintendo Switch 2 (as well as on Steam), with a trailer narrowing the previously broad 2026 window to the season's end. Developed by Crossbridge Game Studios and published by Shochiku Games, the hand-painted, family-friendly adventure lets players control Moomintroll and Little My to explore a flood-stricken Moominvalley, solve light puzzles and complete mini-games, and will be available in both digital and special physical editions.

Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls launched on PC and PS5 on August 6, but the PC port has been plagued by severe performance problems-stuttering, lag and other bugs-that led many users to leave negative reviews, dropping its Steam rating to Mostly Negative. Influential fighting-game creator Maximilian Dood streamed his frustration and ultimately uninstalled the game, saying he will now only play the stable PS5 version. Arc System Works and Sony have acknowledged the issues and promised to investigate, but no fixes have been released yet.

The success follows a pattern for Netflix, where films such as *Bird Box*, *War Machine* and the comedy *72 Hours* have topped viewership charts even with mixed or poor critical scores. The article highlights that strong audience interest can outweigh negative reviews in driving streaming popularity.

Onimusha: Way Of The Sword Isn't An Open World Game, And It Isn't A Soulslike Either
Author: Wesley LeBlanc
Onimusha: Way of the Sword, the series' first new entry in 20 years, launches next month on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC and later on Nintendo Switch 2. Director Satoru Nihei confirmed the game is a character-action title-not an open-world or Souls-like experience-featuring challenging sword combat, frequent deaths without resource penalties, and a hub open-town version of Kyoto that offers side paths, quests, and secrets. The release will be supported by Game Informer's coverage, including exclusive gameplay and behind-the-scenes videos.
