www.timeextension.com just dropped a new piece.
CeX is rumored to be re-opening dedicated retro-only outlets that will again stock imported games (NTSC-J, NTSC-U and PAL), with the first store slated for Birmingham's Bull Street and a launch aimed for the holiday season or early 2027. The plan, reported by the Retro Ghetto YouTube channel and confirmed by Retro Dodo, may see the new shops branded as ReX (Retro Exchange) or CeX Retro and could also include arcade titles. This would mark a return to the company's original 1990s-2000s focus on video-game imports after years of broader electronics trading.

PINAUT GX - Version and adaptation by ShaCPC for the GX4000
PINAUT GX is a newly adapted version of the original Amstrad CPC game by Minsoft, re-engineered by ShaCPC for the Amstrad GX4000 console. The maze-like game places players inside Tutankhamun's Great Pyramid, where they must avoid traps and aggressive mummies while collecting items to achieve high scores. The adaptation is optimized for standard GX4000 controllers, though the current release is noted to run a bit slowly and may receive a speed-up update.

CEX Could Soon Be Opening "Retro Only" Stores: Codenamed "REX"
Author: Brandon Saltalamacchia
A UK YouTuber who covers CEX, Retro Ghetto, says the chain is planning retro-only stores-codenamed REX (Retro Exchange)-that will sell and buy vintage games, consoles, arcade machines, comics and other retro media but not modern electronics or current-generation titles. He claims the first location will open on Bull Street in Birmingham's city centre, using a smaller space and launching either the holiday season or early 2027, though CEX has not confirmed the plan. The report notes the information comes from two alleged CEX staff sources and should be treated as unverified.
