Rally-X - An Arcade conversion of Rally X for the Amiga is in the works via JOTD [UPDATE]

JOTD is reviving a previously shelved Rally-X arcade conversion for the Amiga, now targeting AGA hardware (with a planned ECS fallback) after a complete rewrite of the buggy Z80-to-68000 code. The prototype bypasses the blitter, uses hardware sprites, and should run at 50 fps on stock machines, though the beta shows timing-sensitive bugs that affect both fast and slow CPUs. The source code for the beta has been released for testing.

RetroTink has launched the RetroTINK-6X CE, a $230 HDMI upscaler that outputs native 2560×1440p (up to 300 MHz) and includes features such as HDR10, multiple colourimetry options, and custom modelines, using the same 12-bit linear pipeline as the RetroTINK-4K. The device ships starting 24 August from Asia (5-10 day delivery) and will be followed by a higher-end RetroTINK-6X Pro in the coming months.
