New Official Wheel of Time Release Confirmed for 2027
A new officially licensed Wheel of Time board game, **War of the Dragon**, is slated for release in 2027 after Dire Wolf's Kickstarter campaign raised over $1.16 million from 6,156 backers. The strategy game, developed by Mike Mihealsick, Ryan Schoon and Andy Clautice, condenses the 14-book saga into a two-player (with Hero, Epic and Solo modes) area-control experience that will be fulfilled in the U.S. in early 2027 with a retail Dragon Reborn edition also planned for international stores.
