New video from GenXGrownUp: SPIDERS ARCADE Brings a FORGOTTEN Arcade Game to Atari 2600.

John Champeau and Champ Games have done it again. This time, they're bringing Sigma's obscure 1981 arcade game SPIDERS to the Atari 2600 with SPIDERS ARCADE.
Spiders has always been one of those lesser-known arcade games I remember fondly. Its obscurity makes the new release especially interesting.
Spiders are air-breathing arthropods with eight limbs, chelicerae and fangs that can inject venom. They also have spinnerets that extrude silk.
John Champeau, Champ Games, and Sigma's collaboration brings the obscure title to a new audience on the Atari 2600. The release underscores ongoing interest in preserving arcade games for classic consoles. Fans of retro arcade games may appreciate the effort to revive a forgotten classic.

"I never remember seeing let alone playing the Spiders arcade game in my youth. And I visited a number of larger arcades in different states. It looks awesome, and the 2600 translation is impressive..." - @richchinnici6182
"Wow, I remember Spiders so well. I used to play it a lot as a kid in a bar near my house, then I never saw it again and I didn't even know they released a VCS version. Great advice, Jon.thanks. π·πΈπ" - @luca_verce_969
