A Project To Create A 60fps Version Of Virtua Fighter For The Super 32X Is Underway

Author: Sebastian Santabarbara

A fan project led by Sega Model King (WangDrum) is extracting the 3-D data from the 32X version of *Virtua Fighter* and re-rendering it with a custom floating-point engine to produce a high-resolution, 60 fps version of the game. Updates are being posted on the project's YouTube channel.

This Fan-Made Sonic The Hedgehog Demo Brings Green Hill Zone To The Amiga

A fan-made demo called Aonic, created by modder Reassembler, ports the first act of Sonic the Hedgehog's Green Hill Zone to the Commodore Amiga A1200 by adapting the original Sega Mega Drive code and using RetroRic's palette recreation. The demo reproduces the level's graphics, enemies, speed and physics almost identically-though it lacks the original music and sound effects-and includes a basic, unoptimised level editor and the classic Level-Select cheat. Aonic is downloadable now from Reassembler's itch.io page and runs on both Amiga hardware and compatible emulators.
