The Making Of: Nintendo Power's Star Fox Comic That Gave Andross A Tragic Backstory - "Miyamoto Requested That I Develop The Story Freely"

The February 1993 issue of Nintendo Power introduced a full-color Star Fox comic created by Japanese illustrator Benimaru Itoh, who was granted free rein by Shigeru Miyamoto to expand the game's sparse lore. A developer known as tonnyrh is creating an unofficial Amiga 500 port of Amsoft's 1984 game *Harrier Attack*, originally released for platforms such as the Amstrad CPC, C64, Oric and ZX Spectrum. The new version targets a PAL Amiga 500 with 512 KB chip RAM and 512 KB expansion RAM, adding hardware scrolling, improved Paula audio and a mix of hardware sprites and pixel BOBs while preserving the original gameplay. The project's public repository contains only the Amiga-specific source code, build scripts, tools and ready-to-use assets, deliberately omitting the original CPC assembly and other legacy files.
