Upcoming Fortnite skins, gliders and pickaxes leaked through datamining

What’s your favourite Fortnite skin? There’s some fantastic ones available, from the Black Knight that was granted to anyone who reached the maximum battle pass level in season two, to the huge-headed radiant pink Cuddle Team Leader, and the ferocious Wukong outfit. Not to mention all the incredibly creative fan creations that are posted to places like Reddit and Twitter. But all those skins are old news now. Thanks to @TwoEpicBuddies on Twitter, we now know the identity and design of some new skins in the files, the only thing we’re missing is a release date for some of these saucy soldiers.

Following on from the space theme found in this season’s battle pass, we can see that there’s two new gliders designed to look like space shuttles; one bearing the stars and stripes of the U.S. flag, while the other is black with some neon orange highlights, and we can’t help but think that will look gorgeous with the Dark Voyager skin that’s currently available. There’s also another space outfit here, which features a bright orange suit on a female character model, with the Dark Voyager helmet, and an orange highlighted version of the Dark Matter back bling.

Epic Games are fond of releasing seasonal skins too, and with Easter right around the corner, there’s some Easter bunny inspired cosmetics. First up is one of the female character models wearing a white bunny outfit with some facepaint and shotgun shells on her shoulder, along with an easter egg back bling and pickaxe featuring a chocolate bunny on one end and a carrot on the other. There’s also another bunny outfit, coloured pink and this time on a male character with grenades across his chest. What’s intriguing about this outfit though, is that it appears twice; once with a hockey mask seemingly inspired by Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th, and once without. Could removable helmets and face wear finally be coming to the game?

There’s also another female skin featuring a black and yellow vest top with a black and white checkered neckerchief, and a male skin sporting a mohawk and much larger red neckerchief. Easily our favourite of the leaked cosmetics though is the very spooky looking fellow in the bottom right of the image. With a black hood, spiky dark blue scarf and just glowing eyes where the face should be, along with a metal ribcage as the back bling and winged glider to complete the set, if any cosmetic is a must-buy, it’s that one.

If you’re a big fan of some of the existing skins though, two of our favourites, the Rex outfit and party keg pickaxe are in the shop for another couple of days.
