Suda51's Grasshopper Manufacture Is An Independent Studio Again After Splitting From NetEase

Grasshopper Manufacture, the studio behind No More Heroes and Lollipop Chainsaw, has ended its 2021 acquisition by NetEase and returned to being an independent developer, announced by CEO Goichi Suda51 Suda in a press release. The split follows the release of Romeo is a Dead Man - the only title the studio produced under NetEase - and comes amid NetEase's broader divestment from overseas studios. Suda cited a desire to create a wider variety of games and noted that the separation was reached through generous cooperation with NetEase.

Ted: The Animated Series Announced With Original Movie Cast Returning

Peacock announced that **TED: The Animated Series**, created by Seth MacFarlane, Paul Corrigan and Brad Walsh, will debut with eight episodes on December 17, with more episodes slated for 2027.
