Phil Searching for Mort, released by MJB Software for the ZX Spectrum Next, is a faithful conversion of the 1988 Spanish isometric adventure En Busca de Mortadelo. The game follows Phil as he navigates over 190 isometric screens, solves physics-based puzzles, and battles cartoon enemies to rescue his partner Mort and defeat a final boss, featuring dynamic music that leverages the Next's enhanced audio. It draws directly from the Mortadelo y Filemón comic series and the original graphics by Alfonso Fernández-AF.
