Def Jam Battle Royale: Rapper Logic Challenges Drake To Fortnite
By Jesse Collins ·
The celebrities just can't get enough Fortnite! This time, Logic calls Drake out by name and challenges him to Fortnite on The Ellen Show.

Coming off that Twitch high, Drake is in the news for Fortnite yet again today. This time, it wasn’t his own doing. Def Jam rapper Logic has issued a challenge!
During today’s The Ellen Show, Logic performed his hit single “Everyday” from his new album Bobby Tarantino II, ending the song with some random shoutouts. It’s there that Logic look off the metaphoric gloves. He shouted at the crowd to “tell that boy Drake he don’t want it with me on Fortnite!”
It was a simple challenge, but if you want a lot of people to hear you, we assume shouting it on The Ellen Show is a good start. Though, this is by far among the stranger mashups as of late, offering a famous rapper challenging another famous rapper to a game of Fortnite on The Ellen Show. While we’re not against it, it’s certainly noteworthy of how far Fortnite has come recently.
Ever since he sat down for an evening of Fortnite on Twitch with pro player turned popular streamer Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, Drake has been directly associated with the game. Their night together peaked at 635,000 concurrent viewers, breaking Twitch’s previous record. Though, that record has since been broken on YouTube, it still remains for Twitch. Since that night less than 2 weeks ago, Ninja has already been involved in a controversy involving a racial slur live on stream and has since apologized.
With the mainstream media’s eye on Fortnite, everyone wants in on the action. Between basketball players, rappers, and even television stars, Fortnite is killing it. This game has become a sudden phenomenon and it is not showing any signs of slowing down just yet.
The question we have to ask now is if good old Drizzy is going to take up Bobby Tarantino’s challenge. Oh, and when we should expect a Def Jam Battle Royale game?
