the deriviate is not a mistake, the entire point of derivates being free is that derivatives are only meant for when all the tracks have the same rules but different levels or things like that. it is not an error, and theres nothing for admin to correct. if the intention was for different rules that a different needed tobe created without using deriviates.

that said, there is still some salvation for john. redelf had done a simliar thing on the real board no less where setting were wrong, and it was deemed that since he didnt lose his life until well after 10k, that when he earned the life was irrelevant

rtm had simliar played on wrong setting for super galaxian on a score he's since beat, but it was also accepted for the same reason that when he got the life made no difference as he didnt need it until well after he earned it

though i argued for a reject in both situations, the fact of the matter is, the community accepted it and set the precedent. if it was ok for dk on a real board then i've gotta think its all the more acceptable here.

i have no problem accepting this, but reading through comments tells me theres a lot of confusion on a few things and frankly i'm not willing to risk my crediibilty on this. but for what its worth, my beilef is this should be accepted.

TG is busy fixing the tracks, what I have asked for 2016 and 2018. I am vert gratefull they have start to fix the rules to show the correct settings.

As you will see "XXX-1-Multi" will have many games below it which contain each own rules.

Not like a single game with many derivatives below that are variations of the same game necessarily.

If you go to the "score board error" thread you will see some games rules are corrected.

It is allmost done. .... be patient

oh ok cool, i know sometimes they do make exceptions, thats not the standard but glad they were helpful in your case. is there an email or thread where they stated this intention? such documentation would help very much. thx.

I am absolutely voting YES on this. One could not possibly have a more lenient, generic rule set with regard to hardware requirements. This track is a practically-anything-goes kind of track. Theres no way this will ultimately be down-voted unless some big-cred hitters vote no, which they won't due to the potential cred hit. I'm voting yes, and would encourage others to do the same. TG is aware of the rule set issue and I'm certain theyll provide the necessary remedies which will convey the true intent of the track creation.

The intent of the track is so that 1 in 60 type of arcade cabinet (and similar) as well as clone arcade cabinets that play like the original can be played on for submissions here at TG. It also allow for a gamer to play in a shopping mall where he/she cannot record the inside of the cabinet allthough the machine could be an original, therefore for the last mentioned case it is considered as a ICADE/MAME/Clone cabinet.

Just play games is the moto for X-Multi-PCB track.

If you find any game tracks not listed below X-Multi that need to be played on and made available for submission please feel free to add.

I have looked at this many times now and run through the rules again and again.

As it seems to cover just about anything, from PCBs that cannot be seen to 60 in 1.

What is the reason anyone would vote no for hardware reasons?

I must be missing something big here.

That's what I figured, and serves to reinforce my decision to vote YES, hands down. Creating this category was a brilliant idea. Why this is lagging in the queue is beyond my comprehension.

Voting Yes.

Not only is it not the most Hotly contested record here,
for the life of my I cannot see the problem with the submission.

Even stranger is the fact the previous record of 393,100 was set on the same Cab.

It's not the Magic Million or performed on a Official DK PCB,
but the rules say in no way it has to be.
