The score only increases in increments of 50. A score that ends in 80 is not possible.

-Ohya, baby! I'm the first ever dude on the planet to get a documented PERFECT score on Bonk's Adventure!
I also have a high score on Alfred Chicken.... yeah, not as good.

One has to feel bad for the gamer that played over 7 hours to get this score on the leaderboard only to have it wiped away via a typo. I truly believe it was a referee entry typo that caused the 80 to show. I say this because I noticed that Alan Hewston also played this game on the same date and had a referee enter a non-typo score that will pass scrutiny.
Yes, the 80 point increment is enough to vote this score off the board, and we'll never know what number the correct score ended with. It just does not sit well with me.

Thank you SD, now we do know what the score officially is.

    Correct me if I'm wrong:
About 15 years ago, I remember seeing that TG used to have the referee's name stamped to the score they had inputted. When TG did away with the names, it gave freedoms, less accountability, and anonymity to hide behind.

Having the ref's name would have helped on this dispute and many others I'm sure.
