Rogue had a phenomenal 25 point gap separating them from second place in round one week seven of the H1Z1 Pro League.

Last week, Epsilon started to close the mammoth gap between themselves and SetToDestroyX in first place, while teams like Rogue, Team SoloMid and Counter-Logic Gaming are cementing themselves firmly in the top half of the table. For his immense contribution to his team’s success last week, Riki ‘Riki’ Jarvinen walked away with the MVP award for week six.

Rogue Riki took the MVP award for week six.

Getting into the games and Gankstars got an almost instant kill with Buffalo pushing Pineaqples with a shotgun. Luminosity were also on the wrong end of a gun too, losing JP. To whom we don’t know though, as the kills leaderboard is missing this week. Luminosity followed it up by engaging with Vitality though and taking out both HOOWy and Clem but losing Chipzy.

Luminosity were the centre of attention for even more action, engaging Impact Gaming and eventually being taken out, followed by Vitality also being eliminated. We’re still very early in and there’s already two teams taken out and just over 60 players alive. League leaders STDx however have yet to get in an engagement aside from long range shots at vehicles, while Epsilon who are hot on their heels are also laying low.

Alliance fell to an exploding vehicle in the closing stages.

Heading into the smaller circles and Rogue attacked Echo Fox from behind, taking out Prox and laying down heavy fire on Crank and Sloth. StDx laid down some long range shots on OA from a distance as they cowered by the edge of the safe zone. Kills flew in shortly after with StDx, CLG and TSM picking up kills left right and centre.

As Alliance piloted a flaming wreck into the carnage, the vehicle took one too many shots and blew up with all the members in the car, eliminating the entire team. With only three teams left, they’re the top three: StDx, Epsilon and Rogue. StDx are a man down while Rogue and Epsilon have all five members up each, but who will come out on top?

Epsilon had the terrain advantage in the final fight.

Both Epsilon and Rogue focused on StDx, taking out the entire team before fighting each other. Epsilon have the high ground, but Rogue split up in vehicles and attempted to flank before coming in quickly. Epsilon failed to pick up a single elimination in the final battle, with Rogue picking up all four kills.

Rogue were miles ahead of anyone else this game.

Rogue truly dominated in the first round as they came out on top with 36 points. Epsilon were in second but with a measly 11 points, nothing compared to Rogue’s performance. Tune in to round two of week seven live now on the official H1Z1 Pro League Facebook page.
