Fortnite Week 9: Visit Different Taco Shop Locations, Moisty Mire Treasure Guide
By Ford James ·
Week nine of the Fortnite challenges is here, and we've got the all inclusive guide to find the treasure for the map in Moisty Mire, and the best route for visiting three taco shops in a single game.

It’s the penultimate week of challenges for season three, a meteor shower has started overhead, and players are ever so close to obtaining the infamous reaper skin when they reach tier 100. But the only way it’s attainable is if you complete all the challenges to get as many battle stars as possible, so read on for our guide to the challenges in week nine.
Visit three Taco Shops in a single match
On the map above, we’ve marked the locations for the five taco shops in Fortnite. If you can’t make them out, read on:
- South of Shifty Shafts, over the road from the enormous wooden chair.
- Next to the football field, to the east of Snobby Shores.
- Near the center of Tilted Towers, over the westernmost hill.
- Center of Retail Row, in the middle of the road.
- North side of Tomato Town, next to the big tomato building.
Visiting three when there’s only five in the game in total isn’t an easy task, and will require you to survive for quite a while. The easiest and shortest path is undoubtedly starting at the one south of Shifty Shafts, making your way north west to the one by the football field, before heading east into Tilted Towers and going over the hill. You can try starting at Tilted Towers, but given its popularity, you’ll be making things harder for yourself than if you started elsewhere.
Follow the Treasure Map found in Moisty Mire
The map above also shows a battle star icon where the treasure can be found. If you can't work it out, head to Retail Row, then travel south east and the treasure can be found atop the chimney on the first house you come across.
The rest of the challenges are once again fairly self explanatory, but we’ll provide some handy tips:
Search seven chests in Haunted Hills
Haunted Hills is often forgotten about by most players, but for no good reason. There’s often a boatload of chests that spawn in this spooky cemetery, in and amongst the tombs and even on the back of the car just outside the gates. Some easy to miss chests include the one in the top of the church steeple, the one underneath the church in the basement, and the one on the westernmost side where you have to break through the wall of a tomb to access it.
Deal 5000 damage to opponents structures
This one is easily attainable just by playing the game. Don’t be afraid to spray bullets at walls if you have the ammo to spare, and if you want to get it done quickly, equip a minigun and rain hell upon them.
Build 250 structures
Another one that will be achieved through playing. 250 structures seems like a lot but when you’re building in almost every engagement, often against other players building too, you can put down anywhere from 50 to 100 pieces, so 250 is attainable in no time at all. Just make sure you have enough materials!
Get four shotgun eliminations
As long as you can shoot straight, you’re bound to get this with no problem at all. Rush people down or camp in corners waiting for people to pass by you, a couple shots with the pump, tactical or heavy and they’ll go down like a sack of spuds.
Eliminate three opponents in Lucky Landing
Lucky Landing is the most recent addition to the map and can have a lot of chests, but not a lot of people tend to go there due to its location. There’s a large temple just to the north east which can be ideal to grab some loot from before you go slaying, and don’t forget about the chest inside the tree in the center of the square from some extra goodies.
