Fortnite Morse Code Decrypted, "They Don't Want Us To K..."

The televisions in Fortnite have just started displaying an emergency broadcast, seemingly from the aliens behind the meteor in the sky. A morse code message found in the files has now been decrypted.

Fortnite Morse Code Decrypted, "They Don't Want Us To K..."

Within the last hour or two, all the televisions in Fortnite started displaying the image you can see below. The official Fortnite Twitter page then tweeted out the image, and the servers went down for emergency maintenance. /u/Chris_Attalus on the Fortnite subreddit said it was due to unblocking some players that were accidentally blocked prior due to some backend changes, but we believe there’s something more mysterious afoot.

So Epic Games added sound files for the TV in Battle Royale. One of those is a morse code and contains the message "They don't want us to k..." pic.twitter.com/rme7RQNx1A

Twitter user TwoEpicBuddies, known for previously investigating the Fortnite game files and discovering leaked skins like these most recent ones including the male Brite Bomber, has deciphered morse code found in the files for the televisions. Apparently, it spells out “they don’t want us to k…”, and if we assume the final word is know, then it says “They don’t want us to know.”

But what does that mean?! Both ourselves and TwoEpicBuddies have a tinfoil hat theory, in that the llamas are actually the aliens. They were introduced earlier this season, and there’s only three throughout the entire map, and they can spawn completely randomly each game. If you find one, searching it will reward you with goodies like 500 of each material, along with potential healing items. But if they’re aliens, why would they provide us with loot and goodies? Because they come in peace of course!

We also think that the reason the llamas have been around in-game for such a long time already is because they were sent from their home planet to work out if it’s safe or not, and whether the rest of their kind can land here without danger. It goes without saying that none of this is confirmed and this is still very much a tinfoil hat theory, but it makes sense to us.
