RESULTS: Origen Advance To the EU Masters Grand Final

The popular super team Origen have managed to climb through the ranks of the EU Masters tournament, taking down MAD Lions E.C. to secure a spot in the Grand Finals against Illuminar Gaming. Here’s a brief breakdown of the series.

MAD managed to claim the first game, after their composition proved to be too hard for OG to put down. The objective control from MAD also played a large role in their victory, as they managed to claim every single Neutral objective on the map, totalling three Dragons, the Rift Herald, and the Baron Buff in their 28 minute match.

The second game was a near opposite result of the first, with OG taking the match this time around. The team composition from OG suited their dive mentality, protecting Konstantinos-Napoleon "FORG1VEN" Tzortziou and Henrik "Froggen" Hansen as they dished out the damage. Origen’s objective control was much better this match, securing three Dragons, the Rift Herald, and the Baron Buff while only allowing MAD to claim a single Dragon for themselves.

The third game played out very similarly to the second, with Origen once more securing a commanding victory. Once again it was FORG1VEN and Froggen doing the heavy lifting, while Choi "inSec" In-seok, Ki "Expect" Dae-han, and Jesse "Jesiz" Le providing the necessary back-up. Continuing their focus on objective control, Origen once more picked up three Dragons, the Rift Herald, and the Baron Buff, without letting MAD claim anything in return.

With the series finished, Origen have booked a showdown with Illuminar Gaming in the Grand Final, where fans will be eager to see if this rapidly assembled team of super stars will defeat the more practiced Polish amateur squad.
