Team Shadow Fudge Claim Victory at DreamHack PUBG Duo Showdown
By Zac Cameron ·
While the duo would go on to win the event, we caught up to them after the first two rounds to see how things were going for team Shadow Fudge.

Competing on a main stage like the DreamHack PUBG Duo Showdown against competitors such as Shroud and DrDisRespect can be a nerve wracking experience, so we caught up with the pair that would eventually win the entire event, Team Shadow Fudge, after the second round to see whether the match was progressing as expected.
TG: So you ran on a rampage on that first round, how did it feel taking that first one in this whole tournament?
Shadow: It knocked off a lot of pressure, I was worried I wasn’t going to be able to perform with the light and action, it’s all kind of surreal, and it felt good to get everything dialed down and start playing PUBG, you know?
TG: And in that second round you were doing good for the most part but you came up in a tough situation, sort of pincered in between Shroud and Doc and then another team on the other side of you.
SF: Right, we got pinched to the point where we proned out, locked up and prone and just dove immediately / yeah we were stuck in that dip and we knew where Shroud was and we knew we had a team on the other side, so we couldn’t really challenge Shroud and Doc because if we would have gone up to challenge them we would have been shot in the back, so we had to hold a defensive position and hope that they pushed us.
TG: How do you feel going into the third round?
SF: I feel good, I think my AK spray is on point, maybe just put ourselves in a better position and I think we’ll be alright.
The pair would ultimately go on to win the entire series, beating the streaming powerhouse duo of Shroud and DrDisRespect by a couple hundred points overall.
