NA LCS Match Recaps for Day 2 of Week 6
By Zac Cameron ·
As we close out another week of matches in the NA LCS, let's take a look at which teams have accomplished victory, and which teams are going back to the drawing board.

The North American League of Legends Championship Series is finished for another week, and while some teams have put up incredible performances, other teams are still searching for the right combination that will find them victory. Here’s a brief breakdown of the matches.
Flyquest vs TSM
Flyquest seemed to have the early game pretty well controlled after they picked up two very early kills. Both teams settled into a more passive style of play as they looked for an advantage over the other, before Flyquest stepped up their objective control and pulled ahead. TSM could have perhaps saved the game for themselves, but a misread on the intentions of Flyquest saw victory ripped away as Flyquest continues to show their team synergy.
100 Thieves vs CLG
An interesting match between these two teams as they both battled for control of the pace. CLG pulled ahead early after a series of kills and objectives, however 100 Thieves managed to pull control back after securing the Baron buff and using its power to claim multiple objectives. Once 100 Thieves got rolling, there was nothing CLG could do to hold them off from ending the game and claiming another victory.

Team Liquid vs Clutch Gaming
A very one-sided match between these two teams as Team Liquid once again settled into a more standard and comfortable team composition. Clutch Gaming seemed lost in their inability to find control of the match, with Team Liquid punishing the apparent lack of cohesion between the recently shuffled roster of Clutch Gaming.
Cloud9 vs Echo Fox
This match seemed destined for an Echo Fox victory, after the dominated the early and mid-game in both kills and objectives. Something seemed to change as the game played out however, with Cloud9 stemming the tide and finding victories of their own. Ultimately, the lead that Echo Fox had built proved to be inadequate as Cloud9 eclipsed their goal and picked up another victory.
OpTic Gaming vs Golden Guardians
Another long match to close out the week saw these two teams trading heavy blows as they fought for victory. OpTic managed to pull ahead in the mid-game with their laning and objectives control proving tough to beat, before the Golden Guardians took back the lead and extended it significantly. victory seemed assured for the Golden Guardians, but a sneaky backdoor by OpTic saw them claim victory despite their significant gold deficit, proving that you can never really tell how the games will play out on the day.
Another week in the NA LCS has concluded and the teams are now starting to solidify their position on the standings.
