Watch Ninja Play Fortnite with Ellen DeGeneres on the Ellen Show

The rise of Tyler "Ninja" Belvins to becoming a household name around the world due to his Twitch streams consisting of Fortnite Battle Royale has led to the Twitch star appearing on national television a few times. One of the latest instances was an appearance Ninja made on the widely popular Ellen DeGeneres Show where Ninja teamed up with Ellen to play some Fortnite and teach the television host what the battle royale title was all about.

Playing on a Xbox One, Ninja and Ellen jumped into a duos match together and in hilarious fashion the TV personality had a tad of a learning curve when it came to showing off her Fortnite skills during the show.

From not quite getting the hang of how to skydive at a quick pace from the party bus at the beginning of the Ellen Show Fortnite match and not being sure if she was hurting Ninja with her harvesting tool to being eliminated by a player who could have possibly been NFL player Dez Bryant, there were plenty of entertaining and hilarious moments when the two superstars took on Epic Games' massively popular battle royale game together.

While the TV host failed to capture an elimination in the match, the Twitch streamer commended Ellen on her evolution as a player during their time together.

The appearance of Ninja on the Ellen Show is another instance of how Fortnite has inserted itself into mainstream culture in ways that other video game titles have been unable to accomplish. From professional athletes performing dances from the battle royale title in games to Fortnite's biggest star in Ninja appearing on Ellen's popular talk show, national news network CNBC and the cover of ESPN the Magazine, Fortnite continues to help put the video game world in the spotlight across the world.
