Invictus Gaming (IG) Win League of Legends Worlds 2018

Saturday, November 3rd saw the 2018 competitive League of Legends season come to an end with the Finals matchup between European hope Fnatic and Eastern hope Invictus Gaming (IG). Unfortunately for Fnatic and all of its supporters, Invictus Gaming was able to put together a very impressive performance in the League of Legends Worlds Finals 2018 Finals and secure the highly prestigious world championship for the popular MOBA title from Riot Games.

While viewers were expecting to see a close knit battle between Fnatic and Invictus Gaming in the Finals of the League of Legends Worlds 2018, IG had other plans as the talented roster was able to sweep Fnatic 3-0 in the best of five series to secure the title of world champions for professional League of Legends.

Invictus Gaming jungler Gao "Ning" Zhen-Ning was named the MVP of the League of Legends Worlds 2018 Finals with plays such as securing the Dragon and an impressive double kill in game 2 helping to drive Invictus Gaming to victory over Fnatic.

The world championship victory of IG capped off what was a very exciting and interesting Worlds 2018, as the final standings saw the top four teams hail from Europe and North America in what was likely the best chance that the West has ever had at winning Worlds. However, Invictus Gaming would secure another championship for the Eastern region of the world even without the East having a traditional representative from South Korea holding the trophy at the end of one of the biggest events in the world of esports.

Now, the rest of the professional League of legends scene will have to wait until 2019 in order to begin their quest to win next year's League of Legends Worlds, while Invictus Gaming will be able to celebrate their hard work and skillfull play knowing that they are at the very top of the world.
