The professional League of Legends scene will be rocked to its core if Faker part ways with his current team, as the legendary Mid Laner has led the organization to three world championships, among countless other victories, in his five year tenure with popular South Korean esports organization.
With SKT T1 having released seven of its League of Legends players on Monday, November 19th, some believe that the organization will be looking to stop Faker from leaving and to sway him to resign by focusing their off-season efforts in building the team around him.
However, the 2018 season was the worst year that SKT T1 has had with Faker on the team, as the organization finished in 7th place in the League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) Summer Split while also failing for the first time to qualify for the League of Legends World Championship.
If Faker has decided that leaving SKT T1 is the best choice for himself as he heads into the next chapter of his prestigious career in the world of League of Legends, there will no doubt be many suitors from the likes of the North American League Championship Series (NA LCS), European League Championship Series (EU LCS) or the LCK that will be more than willing to spend the necessary funds in order to entice the leaving of Faker from SKT T1 to their organization.
