Fortnite Wild West LTM And Dynamite Added With 6.30 Update

Fortnite has taken inspiration from Red Dead Redemption 2 with today’s 6.30 content update. There’s a brand new limited time mode called Wild West, along with dynamite which does immense damage to structures. There’s also a new in-game tournament called Scavenger Pop-Up Cup Duos which makes several adjustments to the game.

Fortnite Wild West LTM

The latest Fortnite limited time mode is called Wild West and places everyone back into ye olde times! Only five weapons are available: Hunting Rifle, Pump Shotgun, Double Barrel Shotgun, Minigun and Six Shooter. On top of that, for healing, you can only find Bandages, Med Kits, Slurp Juice and Campfires. Of course, the mode is a great way to try out the new Dynamite item as it’s the only throwable found in the mode and also the only way to deal explosive damage.

Fortnite Dynamite

As for the Dynamite, it seems like a solid replacement for Remote Explosive. It’s an uncommon item and is found in stacks of three so it shouldn’t be too hard to come by. As expected, it has a limited range, shorter than standard Grenades and other explosive items. When you start to throw it, you can’t cancel it though because the fuse is on a five-second timer! You need to make sure you’re accurate otherwise it will explode in your hands.

It’s the perfect way to take down buildings and structures as it does 800 damage, but only 70 damage to other players. The explosion is “in the shape of a flat cylinder” and is 1600 units in diameter but just 384 units in height. Make sure you don’t get caught in the blast!

As for other Fortnite news, Scrubs actor Donald Faison has lashed out at Epic Games.
