Fallout 76 Weekly Events To Begin In Early 2019
By Ford James ·
Bethesda has announced that weekly events will begin in early 2019 in Fallout 76, and they will "create an interesting twist on gameplay".

Fallout 76 may have gotten off to a rocky start, but Bethesda are showing no signs of stopping their support for the game. In a post titled “Inside The Vault - December 4, 2018”, the body of the text details the upcoming patches for the game, including yesterday’s big patch that increased the stash size, fixed some experience exploits, sorted out a number of bugs and more.
The post also goes into detail about the next upcoming patch on December 11. Featured in that will be the upcoming ability to respec once you’re past level 50, the upcoming Bulldoze feature that will allow players to demolish trees and rocks when inside their CAMP, and new settings for PC players like an FOV slider.
Most importantly however is the information mentioned right at the start of the post. “As we approach the end of 2018,” the official “Inside the Vault” post reads. “We have a few more details to share with you about our current patch schedule. In addition, we are excited to announce that, starting in early 2019, we plan to release a variety of in-game events that will take place over the course of a week. These events will be different every time, and will often provide a small buff or create an interesting twist on normal gameplay.”
There’s no more details about the feature included in the post, so we’re left to speculate about what this could mean. Perhaps tough bosses will be introduced - even tougher than the Scorchbeast Queen - so players have to team up and take them on for end-game rewards? Maybe we’ll see raids become a thing, like you see in popular MMOs like World of Warcraft? Either way, Bethesda seem to have a plan in mind for future content for Fallout 76.
