FaZe Fortnite Pick Up FunkBomb

FaZe Clan are a dominant force across multiple esports; Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, FIFA 19, and PUBG to name a few. Their Fortnite roster currently consists of some of the top players in the game: Turner “Tfue” Tenney, Dennis “Cloak” Lepore, and Brendan “Jaomock” O’Brien to name just three out of the seven player roster. FaZe Clan have now made it eight though as they’ve picked up Trevor “FunkBomb” Siegler.

FaZe FunkBomb has some notable results over the past few months. His usual duos partner is Nate “Nate Hill” Hill, another FaZe Clan player, and together they placed first in the Fortnite Summer Skirmish Week 6 Day 1 event, followed by second in Fortnite Summer Skirmish Week 7 Day 1. During the Fortnite Fall Skirmish, the duo also placed second at the final week during TwitchCon.

A Duo United.

Perhaps most notably - and controversially - FunkBomb is known for the time he got himself and Nate Hill suspended from the Fortnite Fall Skirmish. He and Nate Hill were playing in-game when FunkBomb died. He then went to to the official live stream of the event and called out the location of an opponent to Nate Hill, who was still alive in-game. Of course, this is blatantly against the rules and the pair were suspended for a short while. They jumped right back in as soon as the suspension expired though and performed well at TwitchCon.

He’s joining FaZe’s already stacked roster and no doubt we’ll be seeing a lot more of him at future events. He placed 33rd in the Fortnite Winter Royale North America qualifiers, so you can catch him competing in the finals both tomorrow and Wednesday, 11-12 December 2018. Of the entire FaZe Clan Fortnite roster, he was the highest placed performer so he’s definitely FaZe’s best shot at placing in the money.

In other Fortnite news, the Infinity Blade is coming to the game this week!
