What do you do when you find Shroud on the new PUBG map? Tease him, of course!

Shroud Plays Whack-A-Stream-Sniper On PUBG Vikendi Map

PUBG has seen somewhat of a resurgence in the last few days as Vikendi, the snow map, went live on the PUBG Test Servers. One of the most famous PUBG players, ex-CS:GO pro Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek, hopped on for some games while playing duos with Boomzy. He was over by the theme park area of the map, sat atop the roller coaster tracks, when he spotted a stream sniper at ground level. Watch the clip for yourself below.

As you can see, the stream sniper keeps bobbing his head up for a split second before ducking back down, teasing Shroud. He’s known for his godlike aim though so he was able to quickly snap on to the player numerous times before he vanished from view. Eventually, after about 40 seconds of single shooting his harmless opponent, he managed to kill “BOTSteve” with a G36C headshot.

As he walked off along the roller coaster tracks, Boomzy accurately quipped that BOTSteve was “repositioning so fast,” as he would reappear at a different point behind the wall impressively quickly. “Oh man… that was good,” was Shrouds response. This is a pleasant turn around for Shroud when it comes to PUBG, because earlier this year he claimed that the game was “so broken.”

He continues to impress with his god-like aim too; this PUBG clip from the day before Black Ops 4 Blackout was released is perhaps one of his best clips ever, taking out three players in quick succession with the M24. It was expected that Shroud would rarely touch PUBG when Blackout released and that’s largely been the case, but now that Vikendi has been released on the PUBG Test Servers, it seems like Shroud is being tempted back to the game that has helped him grow his Twitch community. As Reddit user /u/SheWantsTwix puts it: “He (Shroud) is better at aiming than I am at looking at things.”
