The Fortnite glider redeploy mechanic is returning in a new form, and the Fortnite community had plenty of reactions to the news.
Monday, January 14th saw Epic Games announce that the controversial Fortnite glider redeploy game mechanic would be making a return to the popular battle royale title in this week's 7.20 update. However, the Fortnite glider redeploy mechanic will now be an item that players will have to pick up as loot in order to use it with a limited amount of charges.

With the glider redeploy being a very controversial topic in the community during its testing period where a great deal of positives and negatives were brought to the forefront, it will be very interesting to see how the return of the game mechanic in the form of a item will be received by the community when it is added into Fortnite with the 7.20 update.
