FOX|MKLeo Unveils His First Smash Bros. Ultimate Tier List

Echo Fox's MKLeo is often regarded as one of the top Super Smash Bros. players on the planet, and for good reason! The man has finished Top-2 in the three Smash Ultimate events he's attended, and won both Smash Conference United and Smash Mania 2. When a player like that talks about his favorite game, you'd best listen.

On his official Twitter account, Leo released his first Smash Ultimate tier list. "This is my tier list," he said, "i promised to make one at 125 subs so here it is. the top 5 is ordered everything else is not ordered:

A+ Pretty good but has weaknesses

A Good

B+ Good but meta game is still young

B they are good but everyone else is better"

Breakdown

Leo's Top 5 are the only characters that are ranked in order, meaning that, in his eyes, Peach/Daisy are the best character(s) in the game. Daisy is Peach's Echo Fighter, meaning the royal duo are effectively the same character with some aesthetic differences. Olimar, top tier mainstay Lucina, Smash newcomer Inkling, and Adult Link round out his top 5. For the most part, Leo's tier list is on brand with what many pros are saying about the game, but the meta is still developing. A character that is currently near the bottom of the list could rise to the top as new characters come up.

One interesting tidbit to us is King K. Rool's placement, at least as it pertains to what social media often says about the character. Could King K. Rool simply be a "scrub killer" character? Or is he better than Leo is giving him credit for?

Leo joins TSM|Leffen as pro players who have put their tier lists out for public scrutiny. How do you feel? Whose tier list is more correct? While you let us know, check out which DLC fighters might be on their way to Smash Ultimate sooner rather than later!
