Super Smash Bros Player Mang0 Returns from Twitch Drinking Ban, Shotguns Beer

Joseph "Mang0" Marquez is a professional Super Smash Bros player for the esports organization of Cloud9 and is often referred to as one of the Gods of Super Smash Bros. Melee. When Mang0 is not competing in Super Smash Bros. Melee, the Cloud9 member can often be found streaming on his Twitch channel.

Unfortunately, Mang0 was banned from the platform of Twitch for a period of seven days due to what Twitch states what a "dangerous consumption of alcohol" when Mang0 allegedly passed out drunk live on his stream. The streamer stated that he had only been joking and did not actually pass out drunk, but Mang0 still received a ban of seven days.

However, the popular Super Smash Bros. Melee player made his return to Twitch on Monday, January 14th and celebrated in a way that many were likely expecting or not expecting by shotgunning a beer live on his stream in what many have seen as a jab back at Twitch for his ban.

After he had finished with the shotgunning of his beer, Mang0 went on to explain that he will not be changing who he is in order to not get banned from Twitch.

"If they wanna ban me for being myself. Ya I like to get a little stupid. Ya I like to get f**ked up, and if I can't be myself then what's the point? Then I'm no better than any other fake streamer on this site and let me tell you something. 99% of the streamers on this site are fake as shit," said Mang0. "Am I gonna be one of those? No. Never. I refuse to be another fake streamer. I will never be that. I'd rather be myself and never be allowed to stream on this site again. They wanna ban me for keeping it real? Doin my thang. Then so be it."

While Twitch banned the star Super Smash Bros. Melee player for supposedly passing out drunk, it does not look as though Mang0 will be stopping his partying ways on his stream anytime soon.
