Ninja is Annoyed at People Looking for the Next Big Twitch Star

2018 saw Tyler "Ninja" Belvins skyrocket into being the most popular streamer on the platform of Twitch with his streaming of Fortnite leading him to breaking numerous Twitch records. While Ninja is still by far one of the top streamers on Twitch, the beginning of 2019 has seen a few other popular Twitch personalities make up major ground to Ninja with the likes of FaZe Clan Fortnite player Turner "Tfue" Tenney and veteran streamer Jaryd "Summit1g" Lazar reportedly passing Ninja in total Twitch subscriptions.

Even though Ninja is still at the top of the streaming platform regarding followers and viewership hours, the Fortnite content creator has recently stated his frustration with people looking for who will be the next big streamer on the platform.

During a recent stream, Ninja responded to a viewer in his chat and explained these frustrations of the community searching out who will be the next big star of Twitch.

"The only thing that is frustrating is that when you were the number one streamer and still are, both for followers and when I’m actually streaming full-time, everyone is just out to look for the next guy now, at least streaming wise. It’s really annoying," said Ninja.

With the competition in the world of streaming being very intense, especially in the top sphere of the platform's content creators, the pressure to stay on top is very real and is something that the Fortnite player has addressed publicly multiple times.

While 2019 could be the year that we see another streamer become the next "Ninja", the popular Fortnite star will continue to be right near the top if he continues the path that he has laid out for himself during his recent rise to stardom.
