LEC Week One Day Two Match Results

All the action from the second day of week one in the LEC Spring Split.

We’ve already seen some pretty fantastic games of League of Legends in the LEC, and it looks like the action isn’t slowing down any time soon. Here are the results from day two of the first week in the LEC Spring Split.

G2 Esports vs Schalke 04

The first match of the day was another stomp by G2 Esports. Some people may have had their doubts about how the team would handle having two star mid-laners in the same roster, but it looks like Caps and Perkz are more than comfortable rolling around as a pair demolishing teams left and right.

exceL Esports vs Rogue

Now finding themselves on a much more even playing field, exceL Esports finally showed off the skills they’ve been working hard to perfect. A much better result this time around comes unfortunately at the expense of Rogue, who were sadly never really able to get things off the ground. Oh well, better luck next time.

Splyce vs Team Vitality

It looked like Splyce was perfectly on track for a fairly straightforward victory, however Team Vitality didn’t make their name from rolling over and letting their opponents just win the game for free. Another excellent performance from the roster that stunned Europe and the world with their Worlds 2018 performance, as they again look to challenge the top teams in the LEC.

Origen seem right at home at the LEC, almost like they never left

Misfits Gaming vs SK Gaming

Oh boy, guess the SK Gaming hype train is derailed for now. After their impressive performance yesterday, many assumed that SK Gaming would be a contender for the top of the LEC. Unfortunately for them, Misfits have their own plans for the region that don’t seem to include losing just yet. There is one thing that might have fans a bit troubled however, being that super-teams generally either start weak but gain strength until they become unstoppable, or they start out dominating before slowly losing their edge. Hopefully Misfits can keep their momentum going.

Origen vs Fnatic

Fnatic are really not having a very good week to start the LEC, with Origen taking the opportunity to flex after their own disappointing start yesterday. Nemesis might not be on the same level as Caps, but then no-one on Fnatic really seems great at the moment so it’s hard to pin-point where their problems lie. Hopefully Fnatic can pull themselves together soon, lest the defending champions miss the opportunity to defend their crown altogether.
