The clip in question that is at the center of the Aus Swag Twitch controversy saw the streamer be asked by someone to call a woman who had claimed she had been having suicidal thoughts and refer her to a proper resource to help her. However, Aus Swag told the woman "I think you should just kill yourself honestly" when she answered the call from Twitch streamer Aus Swag.
Aus Swag was banned from both Twitch and Runescape for his comments following the occurrence of the controversial situation featuring Twitch streamer. A member of the Runescape Community Management staff by the name of Mod Shauny went on to post on the official Runescape forums explaining the ban from Runescape for Aus Swag on Monday, January 21st.
Following his ban from both Twitch and Runescape, Aus Swag took to his Twitter account to apologize for his comments and explain that it was a "careless attempt at a joke" and that he had his microphone muted when he told the woman to act upon her suicidal thoughts, as he "never intended to put her or anyone else at risk." Aus Swag also went on to post a photo showing that he made a donation of $200 to beyondblue, an organization that works to help those in the Australian community suffering from anxiety, depression and suicidal thoughts.

The Twitch streamer and Runescape player also posted a video to his YouTube channel showing himself having a discussion with the woman from the controversial clip above where she states that she did not hear him state his comments regarding her acting on her suicidal thoughts.
However, many members of the community have responded to the explanation and apology from the Twitch streamer of Aus Swag stating that his comments were inappropriate and inexcusable even though he had his mic muted when saying them to the woman he had called.
