Monday, January 21st saw the in-game news tab for the battle royale game be updated and include the announcement that a new disguise item would be making its appearance on the live servers for the game in the near future. As with the release of new items in the past, the sneaky snowman item will likely be added into the title in this week's content update.
You can find the official announcement of the newly announced disguise item below.
Offering the description of "Become a master of disguise", the new sneaky snowman item is shaping up to be another piece of loot that players can use to disguise themselves on the battle field in their quest for Victory Royales. This will be the second disguise item that has been in the battle royale game with the first being the infamous bush item.
It remains to be seen how long Epic Games will keep the new sneaky snowman disguise item, as the conclusion of season 7 could possibly see the erasure of the snowy environments from the battle royale title. However, as with the desert area from Season 5, the snowy areas of the map that were added in Season 7 could remain in place for future seasons and allow for the continued use of the sneaky snowman Fortnite disguise item.
