Blizzard Reveals More Overwatch Lunar Event Skins

Just days away from the start of the Lunar New Year event, Blizzard have showcased more skins that players will be able to unlock.
Just a few more sleeps until the latest Overwatch event kicks off, and Blizzard is once again showcasing some of the fancy new skins we can expect to unlock. The theme is obviously centered around the Lunar New Year and seems to be trending towards a “Romance of the Three Kingdoms” style, as we’ve seen with the other two skins already teased. Two more skins have been highlighted since we last spoke about the event, so here’s a brief look at what else we can expect with the Lunar New Year event.
First up is a Guan Yu skin for Reinhardt, turning our familiar hammer wielding German into a fierce Chinese general wielding a guandao, or Chinese pole weapon. It certainly looks like he might be holding the famous Green Dragon Crescent Blade, but we’ll just have to wait and see.

Next up is a new skin for Torbjörn, depicting him as the military general Zhang Fei. Keeping his trademarked prosthetic hand, Torbjörn looks to style his turrets in a much more appealing way, as he too follows the “Romance of the Three Kingdoms” theme.

We should see a couple more skins before the event truly kicks off, so there’s still hope we’ll get an impressive Orisa skin (personal bias showing I guess). The event itself will kick off on January 24th and run until February 18th.
