Players will be able to find these creatures at the giant ice shards that can now be found all around the map of Fortnite. However, the Golden Brutes only will spawn at the shard locations near the later portions of a match. This means that players will now be able to secure eliminations of these Golden Brutes in the early stages of a match.

Because of this late spawning of the creatures, players looking to complete this particular challenge should look to passively and survive till late in the match. This will allow you to have a chance at fighting these enemies in order to complete their challenge.

However, with their large health pool and increased damage, the Golden Brutes will be very formidable enemies to face. Due to this, players will be best served by engaging these creatures with either the crossbow weapon that was designed specifically to destroy these enemies or explosives.

In order to complete the Golden Ice Brutes Fortnite challenge, players will need to eliminate a total of 20 of these particular creatures, so it may take several matches until you will be able to complete this newly added task.
