Maven Improvises Substitute for Karma on MLG Hot Mic
By Nicholas Barth ·
The popular talk show was missing one of its guests for this week's show, so host Clint "Maven" Evans decided to find a quick substitute.

MLG Hot Mic is a talk show that takes place at the beginning of each week of the Call of Duty World League (CWL) Pro League. A member from four of the eight teams competing that week join host Clint "Maven" Evans and discuss a wide range of topics, which can include the upcoming matches, weapon balancing and questions from the community.
This week's show for Division A of the Pro League was set to have OpTic Gaming's Damon "Karma" Barlow, Red Reserve's Joshua-Lee "Josh" Sheppard, Rise Nation's Dan "Loony" Loza and Mindfreak's Mitchell "BuZZO" Mader. With an impressive lineup of talent and personalities ready to go for this week's show, MLG Hot Mic was looking to film an entertaining segment. Unfortunately, for reasons unknown, three-time world champion Karma did not show up to the filming of the episode. Trying to decide between fliming the episode with only three guests or finding a replacement for Karma, Maven decided to create a substitute for the missing player.
Thinking quick on his feet. Maven grabbed a mannequin from storage and went on to dress it as Karma. With a photo of Karma's face attached to the head of the mannequin, Maven had created a very "realistic" substitute to take Karma's place on the show. There is no doubt that this version of Karma would give some very compelling answers and insight to the viewers of the show.
Currently, Rise Nation sits at the top of the Division A standings with a record of 10-1, OpTic Gaming sits in 2nd place with a record of 8-2, Red Reserve sits in 3rd place with a record of 7-3, and Mindfreak are currently in 7th place with a record of 3-8. You can watch all of the CWL Pro League action on either the MLG website or MLG's Twitch Channel.
