LEC Wraps Up Week 4 With A New Match Time Record
By Zac Cameron ·
The teams of the LEC were on point with their games today, including a new record for fastest match in European League of Legends history.

Week 4 of the LEC Spring Split has now concluded, and while some of the games were fairly straightforward, at least one match managed to break the record for quickest game in European League of Legends history. Here’s a brief breakdown of the games from day 2 of week 4 in the LEC 2019 Spring Split.
Schalke – Origen
I’ll be honest, I kind of expected Schalke to pull out the win here. Good job to Origen for pulling out the win today and moving to a 4-4 record. Schalke is still one of the better teams in the LEC, so a loss here isn’t the worst thing in the world.
SK Gaming – Rogue
SK Gaming have found their third win of the season after taking down Rogue. Unfortunately, this means Rogue is still searching for their first win in the LEC, which can’ be helping their organizations morale. That said, new organizations traditionally struggle at first when they join the big leagues, so it’s also not the end of the world.
Splyce – Misfits Gaming
Splyce have moved ahead of the pack to a 5-3 record with their victory over Misfits, as they slowly work towards reaching the top of the pack. Splyce has some pretty interesting games coming up in the next few weeks, so it might be a good opportunity for them to get ahead of the curve and get some wins under their belt before the teams start looking at playoffs.
Team Vitality – exceL Esports
Team Vitality have extended the woes of exceL Esports by relegating them to a 2-6 overall record. Vitality are now sitting tied for second place with a 6-2 record, with their competition being Schalke right now. Perhaps one of these teams will break the deadlock and establish second place as their own personal spot.
G2 Esports – Fnatic
G2 Esports pulled out a phenomenal victory against Fnatic to close out the day, in a match that saw them set a new match time record for quickest game in either the LEC or EULCS. You can read our breakdown of the game here.
